Many national kennel clubs, other cynological organizations (e.g. breed clubs) have developed guidelines, approaches or programs to: describe and evaluate the health of specific breeds outline guidelines or regulations for screening tests or other assessments on potential breeding dogs raise awareness about issues in a given breed. RAS stands for race specific breeding strategy. The NKK has asked all breed clubs make RAS and get this approved by NKK. RAS document should be of assistance to breeders as a supplement in their breeding programs. The RAS provides experienced and new French Bulldog owners with information.
