The Icelandic Sheepdog is a hardy, spitz-type breed brought to Iceland by Norse settlers over 1,000 years ago to herd sheep and protect farms. Friendly and energetic, it has a thick double coat, curled tail, and is known for its cheerful temperament and strong herding instincts.
