Airedale Terrier
Airedalenterrieri
The Airedale Terrier originated in the mid-19th century in England’s Aire Valley, where it was bred by crossing local terriers with Otterhounds and other working dogs. Developed to hunt otters and vermin while also serving as a versatile farm and guard dog, it gained a reputation for intelligence, courage, and adaptability, eventually becoming known as the “King of Terriers.”
