Mycobacterium Avium Complex Sensitivity (MAC)
MAC is a defective condition of the immune system which leads to an overwhelming systemic infection in affected dogs and is considered a serious and lethal disease. It is a zoonotic disease which means it can be transmitted from animals to humans and vice versa (source: Royal Kennel Club).
