Quick Start Guide: Your DogWellNet Account

Registration

• Signing up as a DogWellNet.com Member is quick, easy and free!
• To register, click the Sign Up button in the top-right corner of the Homepage.
• Fill out the form and click the Create my Account button at the bottom.
• Shortly after, you will  receive a validation email - follow the instructions in the email to confirm your registration.

Sign In/Out

• If you don’t see your name and profile picture in the top-right corner, click on the DogWellNet Member? Sign In link in the top-right corner. Enter the full display name you used during registration (e.g., "John Smith") and password in the appropriate fields.
• To sign out (recommended on shared computers), click on the arrow to the right of your name/profile picture and select Sign Out from the drop-down menu.
• Click here for tips if you have trouble signing in.

Fill in Your Profile

You can fill in your profile so other members of the DogWellNet community can learn more about you and to ensure the IPFD team can configure your account settings to permit access to relevant content on the website.

• To access/edit your profile, click on the arrow to the right of your name/profile picture and select Profile from the drop-down menu.
• Click the Edit Profile button on the right side of the page, across from your name. Enter your information in the fields, and be sure to click the Save button when you’re done.
• Tip: you can select multiple items listed under Academic Credentials, Interests, and Expertise / Proficiencies by holding the Ctrl or Cmd key on your keyboard and clicking on all of the applicable items.
• If you have indicated that you are a Breed Club/Breed Health Committee representative, please make sure you have told us the name of the club and breed, and if possible, share the URL for your club's/committee's website.

Set Your Notifications

You can set your preferences to be notified when content you Follow (see section below for tips) is updated on DogWellNet.

• Once you are signed in, click the arrow beside your name/profile picture and select Notification Settings from the drop-down menu.

Following DogWellNet Content

You can follow content such as articles, forum topics and blogs on DogWellNet.

• Content that can be followed will have a Follow this button to the right of the title. Simply click the button to follow the item.
