Brief Description

The Havanese are exceptionally bright, and they are easy to train as alarm dogs. The breed is affectionate, of a happy nature, amiable, a charmer, playful, and even a bit of a clown. Havanese love children and play endlessly with them (FCI breed standard).

Breed Standards

The basis of breed/conformation shows is the judging of pedigree dogs against the 'Breed Standard', which is a picture in words that describes the range of features that are deemed appropriate for the breed.
