Accessing Content on DogWellNet: Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about viewing and posting content on DogWellNet
Why can't I access all content and features?
Your access to the various areas of DogWellNet.com is dependent on your level of membership (e.g., Guest, Member or Advanced Member). Access may change as we continue to develop the website. Guests can view public content or create a Member account to access additional material and features. Invited Members and Advanced Members will help us build content and further refine the website.
Why are some parts of the site “under construction”?
One of the main goals of IPFD and DogWellNet.com is to bring the international dog community together through sharing information and resources, cooperation and collaboration. DogWellNet.com aims to provide the framework to facilitate this work and to build this community. While we do have IPFD staff members working constantly to add content and functionality, the core of our work is to facilitate contributions initially from our Partners, Sponsors, Experts and other Contributors then, eventually, from a wider group of members.
Who can post articles to DogWellNet?
At the moment, articles may be submitted only by those identified as collaborators and editors, not general Members. Our collaborators come from our broad network of Partners and supporters, including cynological organizations (e.g., kennel clubs), health registries, research and veterinary organisations, non-profits, corporations and other stakeholders in dog health. Over time, we will welcome more contributors (see below).
How do I get permission/access to post articles?
Currently, invitation to post information to DogWellNet will, in general, be granted only to those recommended by one of our Partners or Sponsors. lf someone does not have an affiliation with an IPFD Partner or sponsor, but wants to become a contributor, they may send some background personal information, as well as details of their interest, to info@ipfdogs.com with “Request for Advanced Membership on DogWellNet” as the subject.
