Building on the success of the Virtual Dog Health Forum (June 2025), we've adopted a new hybrid format for the 6th IDHW. By combining online sessions in April with an in-person event in Bologna, Italy, in May/June, we're able to accommodate a growing number of organizations and experts wishing to share their knowledge and expertise, while also providing opportunities for those unable to attend the Bologna event to participate in these important conversations.
A FREE online event Thursday, 16 April and Friday, 17 April – Powered by Royal Canin – featuring presentations and interactive discussions
An in-person event Saturday, 30 May to Monday, 1 June in Bologna, Italy, (registration fee applies) with a full program incorporating multiple streams of conversation on key issues in dog health and well-being, networking opportunities, and social events; held in conjunction with the 4th FCI World Congress for Show Judges and 2026 World Dog Show (also co-hosted by ENCI)
Participants can register for one or both 6th IDHW events (registration for both events is strongly encouraged).
Spaces for both events are limited. Register as soon as possible to reserve your spot!

Important Notes Regarding Hotel Reservations:
Please register as soon as possible to ensure hotel room availability. Accommodations are in extremely high demand due to the World Dog Show events taking place immediately following the 6th IDHW. Therefore, registrants may be booked in one of several hotels near the workshop venue. Hotel details will be confirmed by the booking agency as part of the registration process outlined below.
If you wish to extend your stay in Bologna (before or after the workshop), please book the nights available through the registration form and indicate the additional days for which you require accommodations in the NOTES field at the bottom of the form. The booking agency will follow up to confirm the details.
If you will be sharing a hotel room, we recommend only one of the registrants books a room during registration and indicates the room will be shared with another registrant in the NOTES field at the bottom of the form.

Registration Process:
Registration for the In-Person Event is managed by our co-host, Ente Nazionale della Cinofilia Italiana (ENCI), in coordination with their booking agency, Next Step Events.
Here's a step-by-step guide for completing your registration:
Go to the online registration page.
Enter your personal information, and select your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices of workshop breakout themes (we'll do our best to accommodate your top choice).
In the Services section, click the buttons to indicate the nights for which you require accommodations. Please refer to the 'Important Notes' section above if sharing a room or extending your stay beyond the dates listed on the form.
The default payment option is via Bank Transfer (due within seven days). Click the '+' button beside Payment Information on the form for details. If you would prefer a different payment method, please indicate this in the NOTES field near the bottom of the form, and Next Step Events will follow up within 48 hours to coordinate payment.
Complete the Invoice Data section (including VAT info, if applicable).
Click the reCAPTCHA box to confirm you're (a dog-loving) human.
Click the blue Save Data button to submit your registration.
You will receive an email confirming the information entered, options requested, and payment details/deadlines. Any information you entered in the NOTES field will be addressed within 48 hours. If you don't receive a confirmation email shortly after registration, be sure to check your Junk folder before contacting Next Step Events.
You will receive a final registration confirmation via email upon receipt of payment.
