With the popularity of English Bulldogs throughout the world, the CBA takes the approach that "breed clubs have the responsibility of the whole breed and not only of a part of the elite of the breed or the dogs of their members."

Through providing an overview of the SCC's tools and by outlining the methods by which important breed-specific health concerns can be identified, data related to the breed's health status collected and catalogued in health surveys and by adopting an inclusive approach to encourage participation in club activities, the CBA stands as a model for a club which serves the English Bulldog breed's best interests.
By adopting a common sense, pragmatic approach and by presenting information on many aspects involved in addressing health issues in this beloved breed, the CBA is taking positive steps to ensure the dogs have a bright future.
