Developed to be the ultimate house pet and companion, the Tsvetnaya Bolonka is a small, sturdy, balanced dog, slightly longer than tall. The breed has a wavy or curly coat. He moves gracefully with the tail carried over the back or to either side. He is friendly to all and shows no sign of aggression.   • Breed Information: The Irish Wolfhound

Up to the end of the 17th century, Irish Wolfhounds were used for hunting wolves and deer in Ireland. They were also used for hunting the wolves that infested large areas of Europe before the forests were cleared. (Source: Irish Kennel Club )

A main goal of IPFD and DogWellNet.com is to bring together the international dog world and to share information and expertise from all our stakeholders. The Breed-Specific Information material has been coming mainly from our fabulous Scandinavian Partners who have ongoing programs to get English summaries from their breed clubs, who routinely update breeding strategies for their breeds (see above).

 

Thanks to Per Arne Flatberg and the Irsk Ulvehundklubb Norge (Irish Wolfhound Club of Norway), we have new material and links for that breed (see below).
