The Finnish Kennel Club is a trusted expert organisation in Finland with more than 146,000 members and 2,000 member clubs. The Finnish Kennel Club is the oldest national expert organisation in the canine sector in the Nordic countries and the supervisor of interests of dog owners, breeders and enthusiasts. Organised kennel activities commenced in Finland on 11th May 1889, when some twenty people convened in Helsinki to establish the bilingual Finska Kennelklubben ? Suomen Kennelklubi.
