Condition Description
Patellar luxation occasionally results from a traumatic injury to the knee, causing sudden severe lameness of the limb. However, the precise cause remains unclear in the majority of dogs but is likely multifactorial.

Details: The examination for patella luxation : foreign sires can be used for two litters without these examinations.
Patella luxation: the maximum allowed grade for breeding dogs is 2, and this kind of a dog has to be combined with a dog that has a grade 0. Minimum age at examination 12 mo. If the dog is aged under 3 years at the time of the examination, the result is valid only for 24 months.
